“Vegan food is just too expensive!”
We’ve all heard, or said, it before but is true?
Thanks to clever marketing whipped up by meat-selling companies, many of us have been programmed into believing that Plant-based diets are only accessible for the super rich, presenting meat and poultry as the standard staples in a “normal” diet.
However, when one REALLY thinks about it, plants are much easier to access and cheaper to “produce” and present to the masses because they grow out of the ground.
We had the same reaction when this hit us.
So, how one can go green without throwing their account into the red?
Many ways. One of these is to visit your nearest farmer’s market to pick up goods at better prices than the ones offered at the supermarkets.
